No, it is not a typo. As Facebook seeps further and further into the fabric of our lives and business, I thought the intersection of privacy and profit made for an interesting article. Read this and tell me what you think.

  1. This article to me can be good and bad because Facebook is a way to find out what people are doing and also to find people I think it's bad because people can find u and that's why Europe said they didn't want Facebook to share that kinda information. To me I think Europe is right in a sense because that's to much personal information going out to the world.

  2. Normally, I would say that being on Facebook is a choice, that users choose to take part and upload pictures. If they are that concerned about privacy, then they don't have to use facebook, as no one is forcing them to. However, because faebook's opularity is to the point where EVERYONE uses facebook, I feel that there's no HARM in making internet privacy laws. Yes, users don't have to give thier consent and join fb, but it's so big and everyone's on it, so making such an arguement is unrealistic. For starters, facial recognision via security cameras is a BAD idea.

  3. I see the reasons why europe would want to ban some options on Facebook because some facebook setting can invade your personal space.
