Despite what you may have heard, Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and other top Democrats aren't socialists. And the top Republicans in Washington aren't free-market libertarians.
I think that although the government is taking more responsibility for the citizens, it still is not socialism. I also think the socialism is related to communism, which is wrong because people have rights to ownership of property, according to the constitution. I think the Obama administration is trying to make the country more socialist -like by taxing the rich more, health care, etc. but not at that level yet.

people are throwing around the word socalist like a word calling obama a socalist whens hes not cause when they talked to a actual socalist he was saying how obamas administration never proposed or passed rules like that.
This podcast showed me that the people are not as well educated about political subjects as they should be and that calling someone a socialist when they really have no clue what a socialist is doesn't make much sense. I think people who have a political opinion should atleast know what they're talking about.
